STEVEN ADLER On AXL ROSE: 'I'm Not Gonna Wait For Him. F**k Him!'
March 25, 2009Former GUNS N' ROSES and cvurrent ADLER'S APPETITE drummer Steven Adler was recently interviewed by Mike of Psycho Babble TV. Regarding his future plans, Adler said, "It would be nice if [the original GUNS N' ROSES lineup] could do a reunion. I know it would help me in my life. Because I'm afraid when I die I'm gonna have to come back again to finish what I started. And if I could finish what I started with the GN'R guys, as a band, I know I could die happy. But I'm not gonna wait for him (Axl Rose). I waited and cried for decades, and no more. Fuck him! Forget him! I've got Slash, my best friend, again, and he's behind me. And I've got a great bunch of people, I've got great fans."

ADLER'S APPETITE's current lineup is rounded out by Alex Grossi (HOOKERS 'N' BLOW, ex-QUIET RIOT) on guitar, Michael Thomas (FASTER PUSSYCAT) on guitar, and Chip Z'nuff (ENUFF Z'NUFF) on bass.
ADLER'S APPETITE commemorated the 20th anniversary of GNR's classic debut "Appetite for Destruction" in 2007 by touring South America. However, Adler was forced to cancel a European tour with the band due to "personal issues."
Adler is featured in "Celebrity Rehab Presents Sober House", an eight-episode, one hour series that premiered on January 15 on VH1.
The other members of GUNS N' ROSES band threw Adler out in 1989, saying his drug use was harming his performance. In 1993, the band agreed to pay him $2.3 million to settle Adler's lawsuit claiming a 1990 agreement by which he gave up his interest in the band was read to him and signed without his attorney present.
