STONE MOUNTAIN FREEWAY, the new band featuring former members of ARTIMUS PYLEDRIVER and RED RIVER REVIVAL, has announced the addition of bassist Zack Hembree (ex-MUSIC HATES YOU) to the group's ranks.

According to a press release, STONE MOUNTAIN FREEWAY is bringing the riff-laden swagger of yesteryear into a new generation of heavy, ass-stomping rock and roll.

STONE MOUNTAIN FREEWAY formed in February of 2010 and has already begun recording demos for its self-released EP, tentatively due out in late spring.

STONE MOUNTAIN FREEWAY consists of the following musicians:

Dave Slocum - Vocals
Miles Griffin - Guitar
Brad Kemp - Guitar
