STONE SOUR: Brighton Concert Filmed For Upcoming DVD
November 8, 2010STONE SOUR's November 7, 2010 concert at the Brighton Centre in Brighton, England was professionally filmed/recorded for an upcoming DVD, according to a tweet from the band's lead singer, Corey Taylor.
STONE SOUR's "Digital (Did You Tell)" video, which made its online debut last week, was directed by Paul R. Brown, who previously worked with the band on the "30/30-150", "Say You'll Haunt Me" and "Hesistate" clips as well as on videos from SLIPKNOT, MÖTLEY CRÜE, KORN, GODSMACK and AVENGED SEVENFOLD, among others. Asked about the track's lyrical content, Taylor said, "It's basically about the isolation of the digital age where more and more people are afraid to come out of their bubble, more and more people are afraid to come out of their cocoon. They'd rather sit in front of an electric screen and pour their hate or pour their emotions anonymously into the world."
"Digital (Did You Tell)" comes off STONE SOUR's third album, "Audio Secrecy", which was released on September 7 and debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard album chart, selling 46,000 copies in its first week of release.
