STONE SOUR: Drum-Cam Footage From Romania Posted Online
July 6, 2010Drum-cam footage of STONE SOUR's Roy Mayorga during the band's June 27, 2010 performance at the Sonisphere festival in Bucharest, Romania can be viewed below.
Commented Mayorga: "This was recorded in Romania at Sonisphere, last show of the European tour. I tried to fix the audio with some mastering, but you can only do so much with the mic that comes with a flip vid. But I thought the vibe and energy was there in the footage and I wanted to share with everyone....so enjoy!"
"Audio Secrecy", the new album from STONE SOUR, is scheduled for release on September 7 via Roadrunner Records. The follow-up to 2006's "Come What(ever) May"was recorded with producer Nick Raskulinecz (FOO FIGHTERS, ALICE IN CHAINS, DEFTONES) at Blackbird Studios in Nashville during the destructive storms and devastating floods that hit the historic heart of Music City.
"Come What(ever) May" debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard album chart and included the hits "Through Glass", "Sillyworld" and "Made Of Scars".
The quintet will be previewing select songs from the album during this summer's Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival. The 36-date tour launches August 17 in Minneapolis, MN and will visit arenas and amphitheatres across North America before wrapping October 4 in Madison, WI.
STONE SOUR debuted three brand new songs — "Mission Statement", "The Bitter End" and "Digital" — during the band's June 7, 2010 concert at Columbia in Berlin, Germany.
