STONE SOUR: European Festival Appearances Announced

STONE SOUR has scheduled the following European festival appearances:

June 05 - Nürburgring, Germany - Rock Am Ring
June 06 - Nürnberg, Germany - Rock Im Park
June 11 - Nickelsdorf, Austria - Novarock Festival
June 18 - Zurich, Switzerland - Sonisphere Festival
June 19 - Mimon, Czech Republic - Sonisphere Festival
June 20 - Nantes, France - Hellfest
June 23 - Sofia, Bulgaria - Sonisphere Festival

STONE SOUR is recording its third album at Blackbird Studio in Nashville with producer Nick Raskulinecz, known for his work with FOO FIGHTERS, RUSH and ALICE IN CHAINS.

Raskulinecz previously worked with STONE SOUR on the band's gold-selling 2006 effort, "Come What(ever) May".

Both previous STONE SOUR albums have sold more than half a million copies and are approaching the platinum mark in sales, bolstered by hits like "Bother", "Through Glass" and "Silly World".

Possum Hill of Revolver TV conducted an interview with STONE SOUR frontman Corey Taylor at this year's NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show, which was held January 14-17, 2010 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Watch the chat below.

Taylor and STONE SOUR guitarist Jim Root also play in SLIPKNOT.
