STONE SOUR Films 'Made Of Scars' Video In Philadelphia
April 18, 2007According to Live-Metal.net, STONE SOUR filmed a video for its next single, "Made of Scars", on Saturday, April 7 at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, Pa. Frontman Corey Taylor (also of SLIPKNOT) announced the filming during the concert before the group performed the song twice to get the necessary footage for the video. Cameras continued to roll throughout the band's entire performance that evening.
STONE SOUR is headlining the spring 2007 edition of the Jägermeister Music Tour, which also features SHADOWS FALL, LACUNA COIL and rotating regional acts opening the shows. Read a full review of the Philadelphia show and the April 10 show in Baltimore at Live-Metal.net.
A 22-minute audio interview with Corey Taylor, conducted earlier this month by Suzy Cole of Detroit's WRIF 101.1 FM, has been posted online at this location (Windows Media).
Taylor told New Jersey college radio station WSOU on April 6 that SLIPKNOT will begin recording a new CD before the end of the year. Taylor also added that SLIPKNOT will release at least one more album together. The group's last effort, the million-plus selling "Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)", came out in 2004. STONE SOUR, which also features SLIPKNOT guitarist Jim Root, is on the road promoting its second album, "Come What(ever) May", which has sold more than 500,000 copies since its release last August.
SLIPKNOT recently released a DVD called "Voliminal: Inside The Nine".
