STONE SOUR's 'Absolute Zero' In No. 1 At Active Rock Radio

STONE SOUR have the number one Active Rock track in the country with "Absolute Zero", which Billboard magazine calls "a ruthless hard rocker, the track pummels the listener in the gut…" RollingStone.com premiered the video for the song on November 14.

"Absolute Zero" comes off STONE SOUR's new album, "House of Gold & Bones - Part 1", which sold 31,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 7 on The Billboard 200 chart.

"'Absolute Zero' is the anti-hero anthem of 'House of Gold & Bones - Part 1'," STONE SOUR frontman Corey Taylor tells RollingStone.com. "It essentially lets you know that the hero isn't perfect, but he will do whatever is necessary. The video is loosely based on the fact that in the short story, the hero ends up in a very strange world and he has to figure out what's going on and what he'll do."

"House of Gold & Bones" is being made available as a double album and a four-issue comic book.

Like the story, the "House Of Gold & Bones" album package comes in two parts. When the two pieces meet, they combine to create the "House Of Gold & Bones".

"House of Gold & Bones - Part 2" is due in 2013.
