STONE SOUR's JIM ROOT Talks With Jacksonville's PLANET RADIO 107.3: Audio Available

Jim Root of STONE SOUR was on the phone with Klinger of Planet Radio 107.3 in Jacksonville on December 6. The guitarist talked about getting on the Music as a Weapon Tour, how he and singer Corey Taylor are able to jump from STONE SOUR to SLIPKNOT, life on the road, where he was for Thanksgiving, how their live show differs from the record, and more. STONE SOUR's second album, "Come What(ever) May", has been certified gold for sales of more than 500,000 copies. A track from the CD, "30/30-150", has been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance.

The latest single from "Come What(ever) May" is called "Sillyworld".

STONE SOUR is currently appearing on the Music As A Weapon tour with DISTURBED and FLYLEAF. The show hits Cedar Rapids, Iowa tonight (Thursday, December 21).

STONE SOUR will open for EVANESCENCE on a Canadian tour this January before heading to Europe in February and March.
