STONE SOUR To Perform On MTV Germany's 'TRL'

According to Roadrunner Records Germany, STONE SOUR's Corey Taylor, Josh Rand and James Root will appear on MTV Germany's "TRL" on Thursday, October 26 between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. CET to perform an acoustic version of their single "Through Glass".

In other news, Video Static recently hooked up Tony Petrossian, director of the video for "Through Glass" to create a special version of the video with director's commentary and a look at how the special effects were done. This is a rare peek inside the mind of a music video director. Petrossian gives great advice about what it takes to be one and how to deal with various aspects of the job, both on the job and off.

As previously reported, STONE SOUR performed a backstage intimate set during the Family Values tour on September 19 on 98 Rock in Tampa Bay. Watch the performance online at this location.

STONE SOUR are continuing to tour behind "Come What(Ever) May". As the follow-up to their four-year-old debut album, which was twice Grammy-nominated, certified gold and contained the huge rock hit "Bother", "Come What(ever) May" is filled with volatile songs that mix heaviness with sharp hooks. The songs question the motives of false prophets (the title cut),tear apart hypocrisy ("Sillyworld") and smash complacency ("30/30-150", "Hell & Consequences").

The band's potency as a live act was underlined this summer when they toured with KORN and the DEFTONES on the massively successful "The Family Values Tour". Look for STONE SOUR to embark on the "Music As A Weapon Tour" with DISTURBED November 15, a trek that will bring them to arenas across the country.
