January 24, 2007

Video interviews with STONE SOUR members Jim Root (guitar; also of SLIPKNOT) and Roy Mayorga (drums),conducted recently by Holland's FaceCulture, have been posted online at this location.

STONE SOUR will headline the spring 2007 edition of the Jägermeister Music Tour, with LACUNA COIL and SHADOWS FALL along as support. The tour will begin on March 23 in St. Paul, Minnesota. STONE SOUR frontman Corey Taylor said in a statement, "This has been something we have been looking forward to for a very long time. Having done this tour before, I can honestly say it's like nothing I've ever experienced. It's our time, and we're coming for you."

STONE SOUR frontman Corey Taylor told MTV.com that he wants the band to stay on the road for all of 2007, meaning that he and Root won't return to their other group, SLIPKNOT, until 2008.

STONE SOUR's sophomore effort, "Come What(ever) May", arrived in stores last August and has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments in excess of 500,000 copies.
