STONE TEMPLE PILOTS: Video Footage, Photos from 'T-Mobile Sidekick' Launch Event Available

STONE TEMPLE PILOTS took a break from their summer reunion tour to wow party- goers with a set chock-full of hits from the band's acclaimed catalog at an event to celebrate the latest installment of the T-Mobile Sidekick family of devices — the T-Mobile Sidekick LX Tony Hawk Edition. Hosted in Hollywood, the August 1 event included celebrities such as Heidi Montag and Chris Evans amidst street art from the "Life is Beautiful" exhibit by Los Angeles graffiti provocateur Mr. Brainwash.

The invite-only launch event brought to life the history of skateboarding in each room, transforming the artistic space into installations illustrating the early days of skateboarding in the 1950s to present day in skateboarding culture. Stars like Cheryl Burke and Aly and AJ were spotted checking out the classic moments throughout the sport's history, including landmark achievements in Tony Hawk's career.
