STORMENTAL: New Video Clip Posted Online

Brazilian "raw prog-metal" act STORMENTAL has posted the video for the song "Stormental" and the "European Tour 2006" documentary at the band's official web site. The "Stormental" clip was recorded and produced by singer/producer Alexei Leão and his brother Andrei Leão and accurately conveys the "dark" feeling of the song, according to a press release.

STORMENTAL recently released its self-titled debut independently. The album is described by the group as "an eight-track CD that shows all the technique and musicianship this four-piece band can bring."

Commented Alexei Leão: "We wanted to make something very straight and raw. These days most of the metal bands try to add lots of effect, overdubs, choirs and symphonic influences. All we tried to do was to deliver the most simple and honest sound possible, so what you get from the record is the exact same thing you are going to get when seeing the band live!"
