STORMZONE Working With NWOBHM 'Legend' NEIL KAY

November 25, 2008

Irish band STORMZONE has issued the following update:

"We are delighted to announce that NWOBHM legend Neil Kay has agreed to work with us in our preparations for the next STORMZONE album, 'The Secret Gateway'. Neil has been associated with us for some time now, having visited us here frequently for pre-production in Northern Ireland and coming to see us on tour with Y&T in Spain. We are very excited about the prospect of working with the man who championed the efforts of IRON MAIDEN and the metal scene in the UK in general leading to its rise in popularity in the '80s and, of course, the insurmountable success of MAIDEN!"

"The Secret Gateway" will feature the following tracks (in no particular order):

01. The Secret Gateway
02. The Final Journey
03. Face My Demons
04. World Of Sorrow
05. The Memory Never Dies
06. Fallen Heroes
07. Escaping Madness
08. Greatest Sacrifice
09. Death Dealer
10. Stand Up And Fight
11. The Legend carries On
12. Chosen One

Pre-production demos of some of the songs can be heard on the official STORMZONEMySpace page.

STORMZONE has been confirmed for next year's Sweden Rock Festival, set to take place June 3-6, 2009 in Sölvesborg, Sweden.

Footage of STORMZONE performing the new song "The Secret Gateway" at the Lorca Rock festival in Murcia, Spain on July 25-26 can be viewed below.
