STRAIGHT LINE STITCH Signs With RAGE NATION RECORDS

June 11, 2007

Rage Nation Records, the new label formed by acclaimed video director Dale "Rage" Resteghini (SHADOWS FALL, FEAR FACTORY, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN),has announced the signing of Knoxville, Tennesseee's STRAIGHT LINE STITCH.

According to Dale, the members of STRAIGHT LINE STITCH "have managed to tour the country on their own doing some 150-plus shows a year, grinding it out like no one I have ever seen. . .Legendary bands like HATEBREED did this!!! This is how you build you base, it's how you learn the biz; it's the best training in the world, and if nothing else, every band or label, even if they don't like you…HAVE TO RESPECT YOU!!! BUT that alone is not why I signed them. They are tight as fuck as musicians, they have their own unique style of metal which is brutal and punishing yet it's still something even the most reluctant metal fan can grasp onto. Again, that is not enough. What sets this band apart than most every other great band I know out there grinding it out in front of 10 kids or 200 kids at every bar and stage in the U.S. is the unmatched charisma of Alexis, the band's vocalist!!! She is the Gwen Stefani or metal and hardcore...she will single-handedly knock you out and rip you guts out with her awe-inspiring performance!!! Once the world gets to see SLS live and on bigger tours in bigger venues SLS will be a force in metal and rock for years to come!!! They list DEFTONES, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, DEMON HUNTER, MACHINE HEAD as bands that influence them BUT I'd actually say their sound is a lot broader than that and that they themselves will start to influence up and coming bands as the testimonials are starting to fly in from all over the globe. SLS is doing it the right way, the hard way and now they are on their way."
