STRAIGHT LINE STITCH: 'Taste Of Ashes' Video Released

October 6, 2009

"Taste Of Ashes", the new video from the Knoxville, Tennessee-based female-fronted metal/hardcore act STRAIGHT LINE STITCH, can be viewed below. The clip was helmed by famed music video director Dale "Rage" Resteghini and features a guest appearance by HATEBREED frontman Jamey Jasta.

Commented vocalist Alexis Brown: "What was great about doing this video, besides having Jamey actually appear in the video, was that we got to invite our families, friends, and fans to come hang out and be a part of the whole production, having them perform in the video also.

"This video is definitely one our most memorable ones to date because it's raw, gritty and in your face, allowing no apologies. To me, it is a very honest video; no glitz and glam to cover up what is really important...THE MUSIC! It's what you'll see when you come out to one of our shows."

STRAIGHT LINE STITCH's debut album, "When Skies Wash Ashore", was released in August 2008 via E1 Music (formerly Koch Records) under the newly created Raging Nation Records imprint. The CD was recorded at Millbrook Sound Studios in Millbrook, New York with producer Rob Caggiano (ANTHRAX, CRADLE OF FILTH, 36 CRAZYFISTS).
