STRAPPING YOUNG LAD: More European Tour Dates Announced

Canadian extremists STRAPPING YOUNG LAD have confirmed the final dates for thier European summer tour. For the first time in their career, the band will play such huge festivals as Germany's Rock Im Park/Rock Am Ring, U.K.'s Download, Italy's Flame Fest, Sweden's Hultsfred and Finland's Provinssirock. They will also kick off the tour by playing two shows the same day (June 3). Support on the club shows will come from MAROON.

STRAPPING YOUNG LAD's new studio album, "The New Black", is scheduled for release on July 18 via Century Media Records (one day earlier internationally). A reissue of "Heavy As A Really Heavy Thing", featuring bonus tracks, will be made available on June 12.
