STRYPER Frontman: 'It's An Amazing Opportunity To Share The Message Of Christ With The World'

July 5, 2006

MelodicRock.com is reporting that STRYPER frontman Michael Sweet has completed work on a new solo album, entitled "Him", due on August 1 through Infinity/Central South. Two songs are being shipped to Christian AC and Christian hit radio — "Take My Life" and "Calvary". According to Sweet, "They will be shipped on one disc. We will be adding a list of all the stations which will include formats, contact names, cities and phone numbers to all the AC and Christian hit stations across the U.S. I'll be calling all the stations myself to personally thank them for the support, and I'll also be doing some interviews with some of the stations. We need your help to not only spread the word, but to call these stations to request these songs. Our goal is to see these songs chart in CCM and Billboard! 'Him' is a powerful message and it's an amazing opportunity to share the message of Christ with the world."
