STURCH To Perform At WACKEN OPEN AIR BAND BATTLE

Germany's STURCH have been confirmed for the Wacken Open Air Band Battle on January 13 at Markthalle in Hamburg. The winner will play at next year's Wacken Open Air festival and will also receive a record deal.

STURCH have just finished pre-production on their upcoming debut album, tentatively due in 2006. A demo track, entitled "A Million Wounds", can be heard at the band's official web site, www.sturch.de.

STURCH, who are currently unsigned, have lined up the following shows:

Jan. 13 - Hamburg, GER - MarX "Wacken Metal Battle 2006"
Jan. 28 - Stade, GER - Alter Schlachthof
Feb. 25 - Wolfsburg, GER - Jugendhaus Ost
Mar. 04 - Beverstedt, GER - Das Rockt Wieder Festival
Jun. 10 - Salzwedel, GER - Skz Hanseat
