STYGIA Seeking Keyboardist For Debut Album

November 3, 2008

Boston, Massachusetts-based up-and-coming "shred" guitarist Todd Seitz has issued the following update on the recording sessions for the debut album from his STYGIA project, entitled "Divine Allegiance":

"Unfortunately, Mike Pinnella (SYMPHONY X) cannot record keyboards until February due to a busy schedule. I'm forced to seek another keyboardist as this is too long to wait and will delay the album recording. Any keyboardists interested in recording on the STYGIA album should send a photo and some demos to [email protected]. I intend to capture a similar vibe of keyboardists Richard Andersson, Jens Johansson, Vitalij Kuprij, Michael Pinnella, Mats Olausson, Jordan Rudess, Derek Sherinian, etc... Solos are a must along with great atmosphere for backing keys. It's also necessary you have a way of recording yourself unless you are close to the Boston area."

Recording lineup for the debut STYGIA album:

Todd Seitz (STYGIA) - Guitar
Michael Vescera (ex-LOUDNESS, ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) - Vocals
John Macaluso (ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, ex-ARK, ex-TNT) - Drums
Michael LePond (SYMPHONY X) - Bass
Hank Shermann (MERCYFUL FATE, FORCE OF EVIL, DEMONICA) - Guest Guitar Solo

The band intends to do some live performances after the LP release.
