SUBMISSION Signs With MIGHTY MUSIC
October 11, 2007Mighty Music has announced the signing of the Danish metal act SUBMISSION. The group's sophomore album is tentatively due next summer.
Commented Mighty Music's Michael H. Andersen: "SUBMISSION is one of the most respectable metal bands in Denmark right now. The band has all it takes to follow in the footsteps of the big Danish metal invasion going on worldwide right now. On the side, I have been following the development of SUBMISSION since their beginning, and have no doubt they are a band with a big potential and bright future. Can't wait to work with them."
Stated SUBMISSION guitarist Christoffer Petersen: "SUBMISSION have just started writing new material for the next album. In that process we also searched for a new label after the break-up with Listenable Records. We have been in contact with several labels, but the deals they offered where shit to us. Then we came across Mighty Music! And through several mails and phone calls, we ended up signing a deal. Things just feel right this time, because first of all, it's a Danish label. That makes things so much easier and Mighty Music seems to be more powerful and active than ever, so we feel very much at home."
Listenable released SUBMISSION's the critically aclaimed debut album, "Failure to Perfection", which won two Danish Metal Awards in the categories "Best Debut Album" and "Metal Track of the Year".
The first part of the "Failure to Perfection" album recordings was done at Hansen studios in Ribe, Denmark with producer Jacob Hansen (RAUNCHY, INVOCATOR),while the second part was completed at Antfarm studios in Aarhus, Denmark with producer Tue Madsen, who also mixed and mastered the album.
