SUBWAY TO SALLY Commences Work On 'Bastard'

May 25, 2007

Germany's SUBWAY TO SALLY has completed the second part of its successful "Nackt" acoustic tour and is currently in the studio working on its new album. "Right after the tour was completed, we started recording the basics (drums, bass, guitars) for 'Bastard' at the Horus Studio in Hannover, Germany," the band writes on its homepage. "Those are finished by now, and we can already say: 'It kicks ass!' Eric is currently recording vocals at the Lundgaard Studios in Denmark and all others involved are working with the acoustic instruments in several studios in Berlin. This album is gonna be a sensation!"

In the meantime, SUBWAY TO SALLY will make several festival appearances this summer. "We start off with the Wave Gotik Treffen at Whitsun, with flying in Eric from Denmark, and end with Wacken Open Air as a highlight," the band says. "There we will film a live video for one of the new songs. In September, it's time to check out if the Russians like our music (gig in Moscow on September 15th 2007) and soon after the release of 'Bastard' is following on October 26th 2007. The release tour will start off the same day in Vienna, Austria."
