SUCCESS WILL WRITE APOCALYPSE ACROSS THE SKY Signs With NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS

December 12, 2007

SUCCESS WILL WRITE APOCALYPSE ACROSS THE SKY, the Tampa, Florida-based grindcore act featuring former members of BODIES IN THE GEARS OF THE APPARATUS, DEHUMANIZED, DIABOLIC and LEPROSY, has inked a deal with Nuclear Blast Records. The pack of rapscallions better known as SWWAATS will enter the studio in February/March to record their full-length debut for a late 2008 release.

SWWAATS was formed in 2006 by guitarists Aaron Haines and Ian Sturgill of the now-defunct BODIES IN THE GEARS OF THE APPARATUS. Rounding out the lineup is John Collett Jr. (DEHUMANIZED) on vocals, Mike Petrak (previously of LEPROSY) on drums, and Jesse Jolly (ex-DIABOLIC, CRIMSON MASSACRE) on bass. The group's debut EP, "Subhuman Empire", was released in July 2007 via Debello Recordings, and is available for streaming on the SWWAATSMySpace page.

SWWAATS had the following to say regarding the group's deal with Nuclear Blast: "This is monumentally exciting! We extend our gratitude to Frank Watkins [OBITUARY bassist and SWWAATS manager through his Back From the Dead Productions] for his guidance and support. We would also like to thank Markus, Gerardo, Jaap and Andy at Nuclear Blast for making this happen; this is truly an honor, and we are humbled to be on this roster. That being said, we're looking forward to bashing skulls on a global scale. See you all on the road!"
