SUFFOCATION Confirmed For CENTRAL ILLINOIS METALFEST

Legendary New York death metallers SUFFOCATION have been confirmed for next year's Central Illinois Metalfest, set to take place July 18-20 at the Canopy Club in Urbana, Illinois. The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

Roadrunner Records has set a January 29, 2008 North American release date for a "best-of" collection from SUFFOCATION, appropriately titled "The Best of Suffocation". The track listing for the effort is as follows:

SUFFOCATION's video for the track "Abomination Reborn", from their self-titled album, can be viewed below. The clip was shot in Brooklyn, NY with director Frankie Nasso (MUDVAYNE, HATEBREED, MISERY INDEX) and producers Dale Resteghini and Melissa Manousos of Raging Nations Films.

SUFFOCATION is currently seeking a new label home following the group's split with Relapse Records.
