SUFFOCATION: More U.S. Tour Dates Announced

Long-running New York death metallers SUFFOCATION have scheduled the following dates:

July 13 - New York, NY @ B.B. King Blues Club & Grill
July 14 - Rochester, NY @ Penny Arcade
July 15 - South Bend, IN @ Elva’s Fiesta Club
July 17 - Cleveland, OH @ Peabody’s
July 18 - Detroit, MI @ Harpo’s
July 19 - Mokena, IL @ The Pearl Room
July 20 - Urbana, IL @ The Canopy Club (Central Illinois Metalfest)
July 21 - Louisville, KY @ Uncle Pleasants
July 22 - Charlotte, NC @ Tremont Music Hall

Gino Alache from RockumRadio.com conducted an interview with SUFFOCATION drummer Mike Smith on February 11. During the 19-minute chat, Smith revealed the working title of the next SUFFOCATION album: "Blood Oath". According to Mike, the CD will be recorded by June for a tentative August/September release.

Roadrunner Records has just released a "best-of" collection from SUFFOCATION, appropriately titled "The Best of Suffocation". The track listing for the effort is as follows:

SUFFOCATION's video for the track "Abomination Reborn", from their self-titled album, can be viewed below. The clip was shot in Brooklyn, NY with director Frankie Nasso (MUDVAYNE, HATEBREED, MISERY INDEX) and producers Dale Resteghini and Melissa Manousos of Raging Nations Films.

SUFFOCATION is currently seeking a new label home following the group's split with Relapse Records.
