SUFFOCATION Sign With RELAPSE RECORDS, Plan Early 2004 Release

Reunited New York death metallers SUFFOCATION have inked a deal with Relapse Records and will be heading into the studio shortly to record a new album, tentatively due in early 2004. A self-produced affair, the as-yet-untitled follow-up to the 1998 "Despise The Sun" EP will mark the group's first full-length release since 1995's "Pierced From Within". SUFFOCATION's only live appearance for the remainder of the year will take place on August 30 at the Las Vegas Metalfest. A recently recorded demo track, titled "Deceit", can be downloaded in MP3 format at this location.
