SUICIDE SILENCE Announces 'Graceless' Album, Shares Title Track

California deathcore act SUICIDE SILENCE has shared "Graceless", the title track of the band's upcoming album, which is set for release on November 20 via Century Media. The song's accompanying music video captures the essence of what put deathcore on the map in the early 2000s and can be seen below.

SUICIDE SILENCE remains stubbornly communal. They have always written best with bodies in a room, amps cranked, and friendly arguments evolving into arrangements. That collective instinct gives "Graceless" its strange comfort amid the chaos. It is vicious, ugly, physical, immediate, and fully inhabited by a band that survived every argument about what it was supposed to be.

As guitarist Chris Garza puts it, the goal was to "just get out of the way and serve that band logo. When we choose to do that, great things follow. We're back to doing it exactly as we did it when we were kids: just playing heavy shit and doing it from the heart."

Deathcore was once a word thrown at them as a limit. Today it's a flag planted in the dirt. Twenty-four years after their first noise from SoCal, SUICIDE SILENCE stands in rare company: survivors who never mistook endurance for safety, craftsmen more than capable of making instinct sound like impact. "Graceless" is the circle closing, hard, with newly sharpened teeth, hungry for future conquest.

SUICIDE SILENCE will embark on the "Reminders Of Hell Tour" this fall. Support on the trek, which will launch on November 6 in Riverside, California and conclude on December 13 in Los Angeles, California, will come from EMMURE, ANGELMAKER and SYNESTIA.

SUICIDE SILENCE's seventh album, "Remember... You Must Die", was released in March 2023 via Century Media. The LP was produced and mixed by Taylor Young (NAILS, XIBALBA, VITRIOL). For the artwork, the band enlisted renowned necrosurrealist artist David Van Gough to visualize the concept.

SUICIDE SILENCE's longtime drummer Alex Lopez exited the band in April 2022. Ernie Iniguez, who recorded drums on SUICIDE SILENCE's "Become The Hunter" album, has been sitting behind the kit for the band for the past four years.

This past January, SUICIDE SILENCE announced it had recruited Ian Waye (SOREPTION) to fill in on guitar for Chris Garza while the latter guitarist was taking "hiatus" from the group.

In addition to playing for SUICIDE SILENCE, Garza is well known as the host of "The Garza Podcast", where he interviews other musicians about metal history, culture and creativity.

SUICIDE SILENCE's lineup has seen several changes over the years, but key members have included Garza, Mark Heylmun (guitar),Mitch Lucker (vocals),Dan Kenny (bass) and Alex Lopez (drums).

Vocalist Hernan "Eddie" Hermida (ALL SHALL PERISH) joined SUICIDE SILENCE in 2013 following the passing of frontman Mitch Lucker. Mitch died on November 1, 2012 after sustaining injuries in a motorcycle crash in Huntington Beach.
