SUICIDE SILENCE: 'Wake Up' Video Preview Available

May 18, 2009

California deathcore masters SUICIDE SILENCE recently shot a video for the new track "Wake Up" with acclaimed director David Brodsky (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, GWAR, EARTH CRISIS, THE AGONIST). The clip is a disturbing look into the inner psyche while embracing the effect of hallucinogens. Vocalist Mitch Lucker stated, "It was a pleasure to work with [David] again. We feel he perfectly nailed the concept we envisioned for this clip and we can't wait for you all to see it."

A 30-second teaser for the video can be viewed exclusively at this location.

"Wake Up" comes off SUICIDE SILENCE's new album, "No Time To Bleed", which is scheduled for release on June 30 via Century Media Records. The CD was recorded with acclaimed producer Machine (LAMB OF GOD).

The track listing for the album is as follows:

01. Wake Up
02. Lifted
03. Smoke
04. Something Invisible
05. No Time To Bleed
06. Suffer
07. …And Then She Bled
08. Wasted
09. Your Creations
10. Genocide
11. Disengage

The "maximum bloodshed edition" of "No Time To Bleed" (available through CM Distro only) is limited to 10,000 copies. It includes a bonus track, a DVD with "behind-the-scenes" and "making-of" videos, a two-sided poster, collectors cards of each band member and a mail-in offer for an exclusive T-shirt.

Commented vocalist Mitch Lucker: "The 'Music As A Weapon IV' tour [with DISTURBED, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, LACUNA COIL and CHIMAIRA] was an amazing opportunity for us to play in front of thousands of people every day and we know that the majority of them have never seen us before. It seems as if we made a lot of new fans and we want to thank everyone who checked us out and gave us a chance. We are excited to go home and enjoy a short break before heading out on the 'Canadian Carnage' tour [with SLAYER, MEGADETH and MACHINE HEAD] and European festival shows.

"We will be back in North America this July as part of a massive package that should be announced in the coming weeks.

"We couldn't be more proud of 'No Time To Bleed' and we are stoked for everyone to hear it and experience it in its entirety."
