SUIDAKRA Interviewed In New York City

Noa of Metal Injection conducted an interview with German melodic folk/death metallers SUIDAKRA after the band's March 8, 2010 concert at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York City. Watch the chat below.

SUIDAKRA has begun composing new music for its next album which it hopes to begin recording in December.

SUIDAKRA's ninth album, "Crógacht", was released in the U.S. in March 2009 through Wacken Records/SPV. Recorded at Gernart Studios with producer Martin Muchwalter, the CD's artwork was created by famous Belgian graphic artist Kris Verwimp.

"Crógacht", meaning bravery, is based on one of the most dramatic tales in Irish mythology. It tells the story of the hero Cuchulainn's epic journey to the Isle of Skye, where he seeks to learn the arts of war from the Scythian warrior woman Scathach. The decisions he then has to make set the events in motion that will lead to his son Conlaoch's tragic fate…
