SUIDAKRA To Tour Europe With ONSLAUGHT, DEBAUCHERY

German melodic folk/death metallers SUIDAKRA will embark on a "major European tour" in March/April 2011 with ONSLAUGHT and DEBAUCHERY. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon. In addition, SUIDAKRA will return to Spain in early March for a "small tour" with EQUILIBRIUM and support act NORTHLAND.

SUIDAKRA recently completed work on its tenth album, "Book Of Dowth", at Gernhart Studio in Siegburg, Germany with producer Martin Buchwalter for an early 2011 release. Famous Belgian graphic artist Kris Verwimp will once again be in charge of the cover artwork and lyrical concept.

Commented the band: "The recordings for 'Book Of Dowth' went even better than expected. We shit you not! Never before have recordings gone as smooth as this time, because all people involved were well prepared and very focused."

In addition to preparing for the upcoming recordings, SUIDAKRA spent the last few weeks filming a video for the song "Dowth 2059". The band said, "It's our first collaboration with director/producer David Thelen and even though the post-production has just started, one thing is for sure: it will kick some serious ass!"

In other news, guitarist Sebastian Hintz has left SUIDAKRA due to "work-related circumstances." His final concert with the band took place on December 4, 2010 in Belgium. A new touring guitarist has already been recruited for SUIDAKRA's shows in 2011: Marius "Jussi" Pesch from KINGDOM OF SALVATION.

SUIDAKRA's ninth album, "Crógacht", was released in the U.S. in March 2009 through Wacken Records/SPV.
