SUIDAKRA: Video Recap Of BANGALORE OPEN AIR Performance

German melodic folk/death metallers SUIDAKRA have posted a 10-minute video recap of the band's trip to India to perform at the Bangalore Open Air festival on June 16. Check it out below.

SUIDAKRA is tentatively scheduled to enter the studio in January to begin recording its new album for a mid-2013 release. Vocalist Arkadius Antonik recently told Metal Kaoz, "The songs we have finished [so far] are bombastic and we also finished the first song with [longtime collaborator] Tina's [Stabel] female vocals. This time, it's gonna be a faster song with a real epic and catchy chorus."

SUIDAKRA's tenth album, "Book Of Dowth", was released on March 25, 2011 via AFM Records. The CD was recorded at Gernhart Studio in Siegburg, Germany with producer Martin Buchwalter. Famous Belgian graphic artist Kris Verwimp once again created the cover artwork and lyrical concept.

Inspired by the darker side of Celtic lore, the concept of "Book Of Dowth" chronicles the mythology of a mysterious race of demonic beings known as the "Fomor." Starting with the discovery of an ancient book at the excavation of Dowth (a Neolithic passage tomb in the Boyne Valley, Ireland),it unveils the yet untold story of the rise and fall of the Fomorian horde throughout history and far, far beyond…
