SUN CAGED Continue Vocalist Search, Begin Work On New Material

Dutch progressive metallers SUN CAGED are still searching for a singer following the departure of Andre Vuurboom earlier in the year. "We have some good options," the band write on their web site. "Things are looking positive currently and we hope to announce the news pretty soon."

In other news, SUN CAGED are busy writing material for the follow-up to their self-titled debut album, which was released last October through Finland's Lion Music. "The songs sound great so far and show some different aspects from the band," the group write.

"Sun Caged" was mixed by AYREON/STAR ONE mastermind Arjen Anthony Lucassen.
