SVARTAHRID: New Album To Feature Guest Appearance By DARKTHRONE's NOCTURNO CULTO

Norwegian black metallers SVARTAHRID have inked a three-album deal with Soulseller Records. The group's new album, "Sadness and Wrath", features a guest appearance by DARKTHRONE's Nocturno Culto in the song "Intensjon: Krig!" and is scheduled for release this winter.

Stig York (Nidgrim): Bass

SVARTAHRID made headlines in Norway in 2003 when the group's former bassist was arrested after bringing a severed human head to a party and showing it off to the guests. The then-26-year-old musician, who goes by the name Illvastar, pleaded guilty to raiding a morgue and desecrating a dead body, claiming he did so because he was under the influence of drugs. Illvastar was booted from SVARTAHRID after playing on the group's second record, "As the Sunrise Flickers".
