SWASHBUCKLE Recording New Album

April 1, 2010

New Jersey's thrashing pirates SWASHBUCKLE have entered the studio to begin recording their new album, "Crime Always Pays", due later in the year via Nuclear Blast Records. The group states, "That's right, jerks, the thrash band with a pirate problem is back in action crafting malicious metal jams with tales of piratical shenannigans. It's gonna be a heavy record, so expect to beat the shit out of your siblings and parental units whilst ye get caught in a mosh. . . Let me assure you that it'll thrash your fucking brains into your butthole."

"Crime Always Pays" will feature the following songs:

* This Rounds On You!
* Raw-doggin' at the Rawbar
* The Gallows Pole Dancer
* A Time of Wooden Ships and Iron Men
* At the Bottom of a Glass
* Powder Keg
* Where Victory is Penned
* We Are The Storm
* Of Hooks and Hornswagglers
* Ropes End
* Legacy's Allure
* You Bring the Cannons, We'll Bring the Balls
* Crime Always Pays
* To Steal A Life

SWASHBUCKLE's last album, "Back To The Noose", was released on July 24, 2009 via Nuclear Blast Records.

SWASHBUCKLE took part in last year's Paganfest Europe tour alongside KORPIKLAANI, UNLEASHED, ALESTORM, DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER and EX DEO.

SWASHBUCKLE was one of three winners of the 2008 Nuclear Blast MySpace Bands Contest.
