Sweden's THE GRAVIATORS Sign With NAPALM RECORDS
January 20, 2012Swedish doom metallers THE GRAVIATORS have inked a worldwide deal with Napalm Records. The quartet, which is said to be "inspired by the sounds of the great rock 'n' roll groups of the '70s," will release its sophomore album at the end of April on CD and LP.
THE GRAVIATORS's self-titled debut came out in 2009. Their first music video, for the song "Back To The Sabbath", was shot by renowned music video director Thomas Tjäder and can be seen below.
The band was featured with the track "The Magician" on the Planet Fuzz compilation "Cowbells & Cobwebs".
In 2010 Dutch label Clear Spot/Headspin records released "The Graviators" as an exclusive double splatter vinyl. The artwork for this vinyl release (and the second pressing of the album on CD) was made by the artist Vance Kelly.
