Swedish Black Metallers UNPURE Sign With AGONIA RECORDS
July 13, 2004Swedish black metallers UNPURE have inked a deal with Poland's Agonia Records. The group's first release for the label will be their fourth full-length album, "World Collapse", due at the end of July. The CD, which has been ready for some time, was delayed several times due to the financial problems at the band's former record label, Drakkar Productions. Audio samples of three tracks from the forthcoming CD are currently available from UNPURE's official web site: "Never in Gold" (mp3),"Mark of the Beast" (mp3) and "Risen and Bound" (mp3).
UNPURE are currently on a break due to the fact that bassist/vocalist Kolgrim has left Sweden for an undetermined period of time "because of other personal priorities," according to an official press release. "[Drummer] Jonathon and [guitarist] Hräsvelg will continue working on new material for UNPURE until Kolgrim is ready to return again. Therefore no gigs are planned in the nearest future."
