Swedish SALT Turns Into BALLS

February 22, 2008

SALT, the new Swedish project featuring Björn Lodin (BALTIMOORE) on vocals, Mikael Nord Andersson (NORD, ROXETTE, JAMIE WALTERS, PRIVATE EYE) on guitar and lead/backing vocals, Janne Stark (OVERDRIVE, LOCOMOTIVE BREATH, MOUNTAIN OF POWER) on guitar, Robban Bäck on drums and Björn Lundqvist on bass/vocals, has changed its name to BALLS. According to the group, "As the band found out there was another Swedish Christian pop band named SALT, an Eighties band now reunited, they decided to change the name before the release of the debut album. The debut album is currently being recorded and planned to be released before the summer. No title is yet decided, but the new band name suggests several intricate options…"

A BALLS demo track, entitled "Camper", is available for download at this location.
