SWEET F.A. To Reunite
July 16, 2007Late '80s/early '90s band SWEET F.A. has agreed to reunite for what may be the last time ever. The group is holed up in a remote location in Indianapolis, Indiana for rehearsals, which are expected to last through early August. Touring partners have not been decided yet but talks have begun with several other bands that haven't toured in a long while.
The decision to pick bands to tour together falls on the shoulders of Ted Hollywood Heckman, best known for his work in getting Marq Torien and the BULLETBOYS back on the map the past three years.
"I want to pick bands that haven't toured in a while," Heckman said. "Most of the fans are tired of not knowing which version of their favorite bands will show up or if they will show up at all. It's getting crazy out there. So I want bands that don't have ego issues, love their fans and just want to get back out there and have fun. We are talking to several bands at this point. I have been speaking with two or three really good bands and I hope we can work this out. It will most certainly be a show to remember we will be pulling out all the stops once we get the bands together. We will also be bringing an up and coming band with us so you'll be able to check them out too."
When the 90's rolled around the music changed too. Bands like NIRVANA changed the course of music for years to come. With that MCA and several other labels cleared their rosters. Bands like TRIXTER, SWEET F.A., SLEEZE BEEZ and SPREAD EAGLE all found themselves labeless.
