SWORN ENEMY Prepares To Enter Studio With TIM LAMBESIS

December 11, 2008

Queens, New York-based hardcore/metal act SWORN ENEMY spent the majority of 2008 touring the world with such acclaimed acts as HATEBREED, EARTH CRISIS, DIVINE HERESY and TERROR in support of its latest effort, "Maniacal", which was widely renowned as the group's best and heaviest offering yet.

Now, less than a year since that album's release, the band is preparing to enter the studio once again with longtime producer Tim Lambesis (AS I LAY DYING vocalist). SWORN ENEMY wil head to San Diego on January 3 to begin recording the new effort, to be immediately followed by a 44-show European tour with FREYA (featuring Karl from EARTH CRISIS),WAKING THE CADAVER and COOL DUDES CHILLIN, and treks of Israel, Australia, Japan and Korea. The Trendkilla II tour of North America is scheduled for late April/May (other bands to be announced).

Look for SWORN ENEMY's much-anticipated new effort to hit stores in the spring.

Commented Lorenzo Antonucci (guitars, vocals): "I'm very excited about this album because our writing process has been better then ever. I've been a part of all the writing for every record and I feel this is our best foundation yet. We took it back to 'As Real As It Gets' with a little of 'The Beginning of the End' and 'Maniacal' in it. The sound is way faster and more pissed off then ever, harder then ever and a lot more ignorant. It's going to be fun working with Tim again. This will be the third album he's been apart of. This also marks our first recording with Sid (bass) and JRad (drums),so we are all very excited about that. This record will be a great one!"
