SWORN ENEMY To Enter Studio In April

March 8, 2007

Guitarist Lorenzo Antonucci of the Queens, New York-based hardcore/metal act SWORN ENEMY has issued the following update:

"SWORN ENEMY is just about done with the Trendkiller tour. This has been one of our best headlining tours in years. We had a great time with our bros in KATAKLSYM, SUICIDE SILENCE, AS BLOOD RUNS BLACK and TOO PURE TO DIE.

"SWORN ENEMY is heading into the studio in late April. We will be working with Tim Lambesis from AS I LAY DYING and Joey Z from LIFE OF AGONY. This record is going to be a monster. We're very excited to be working with Tim again on this next one. Joey Z is one of our favorite guitar players, and it's a honor to be working next to him. We will keep you guys posted."

SWORN ENEMY's sophomore record, "The Beginning of the End", came out in January 2006 via Abacus Recordings. The CD was recorded at Big Fish Studios in San Diego with producer Tim Lambesis, engineer Steve Russell and mixer Zeuss (THE RED CHORD, SHADOWS FALL).

SWORN ENEMY released their "Negative Outlook" EP on Jamey Jasta's (HATEBREED, MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball") Stillborn Records before following it up with a full-length effort, "As Real As It Gets", on Elektra. Landing a coveted spot on the second stage of Ozzfest 2003 and with a loyal fan base in tow, SWORN ENEMY continued to pummel and destroy fans by relentless touring with acts such as SLAYER, SLIPKNOT, GOD FORBID, HATEBREED, UNEARTH, D.R.I., ARCH ENEMY, AMERICAN NIGHTMARE and many more.
