SWORN ENEMY To Release 'Maniacal' In November

September 28, 2007

Queens, New York-based hardcore/metal act SWORN ENEMY will release its new album, "Maniacal", in Europe on November 12 via Century Media Records. The CD was produced by Tim Lambesis (AS I LAY DYING) and Joey Z (LIFE OF AGONY),who took a very hands-on approach to this album.

"Maniacal" takes SWORN ENEMY's sound to new heights with a thrashier edge pummelling the listener with a furiously blasting impact and unrivalled heaviness that is reminiscent of thrash titans like EXODUS, TESTAMENT as well as early MEGADETH and ANTHRAX.

Frontman Sal Loco of SWORN ENEMY comments: "In my personal opinion the new material is some of the best shit we have done to date and it seems to keep getting better. It has more of an aggressive feel to it with lots of thrash thrown in there!"

Adding to the all-star cast in support of this release, Jordan Mancino of AS I LAY DYING recorded all drum tracks for the album. As a fan and friend of the band, Jordan was excited to be a part of this project and did an amazing job laying down a brutal rhythmical fundament for "Maniacal". Drums were recorded at Big Fish Studios, all guitars were nailed down at Method Of Groove Studio, and vocals at Studio Lambesis, whereas mixing duties were handled by the up-and-coming producer Daniel Castleman (DESTROY THE RUNNER, WINDS OF PLAGUE).

"Maniacal" track listing:

01. Ignorance
02. Time To Rage
03. A Place of Solace
04. Weather The Storm
05. Destroyer
06. The American Way
07. Fear For Failure
08. No End To This Nightmare
09. Talk Is Cheap
10. Said And Done

SWORN ENEMY will tour Europe with AGNOSTIC FRONT and EVERGREEN TERRACE in November, followed by this year's edition of the Persistence Tour, which will also feature HATEBREED, AGNOSTIC FRONT and IGNITE, among others.
