SYMPHONY X: 'Paradise Lost' First-Week Chart Positions Revealed

SYMPHONY X's new CD, "Paradise Lost", has registered the following first-week chart positions around the world:

USA: #123
Sweden: #32
Germany: #50
France: #60
Netherlands: #59
UK: #169 (rock/metal chart: #12)

"Paradise Lost" sold just under 6,500 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

"Paradise Lost" was released on June 26 via Inside Out Music. The CD was mixed by Jens Bogren (OPETH, SOILWORK, AMON AMARTH) at Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden. A full-length track from the album, "The Serpent's Kiss", is available for streaming on the band's MySpace page.

SYMPHONY X will play a number of North American dates with SANCTITY and ECHOES OF ETERNITY in July/August before heading over to Europe as the support act for DREAM THEATER.
