SYMPHONY X's LEPOND Completes Bass Tracks For STYGIA Debut

Boston, Massachusetts-based up-and-coming "shred" guitarist Todd Seitz has issued the following update on the recording sessions for the debut album from his STYGIA project, entitled "Divine Allegiance":

"Mike LePond of SYMPHONY X finished recording his bass tracks earlier this week. I couldn't be happier with his work! The bass tracks are totally killer. I have to send out a big thanks to Michael Romeo [SYMPHONY X guitarist] for taking the time to record LePond. Some intense tracks! I'd say the album is more than half way done. Next will be keyboards, then to the vocal tracks and guitar solos."

Recording lineup for the debut STYGIA album:

Todd Seitz (STYGIA) - Guitar
Michael Vescera (ex-LOUDNESS, ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) - Vocals
John Macaluso (ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, ex-ARK, ex-TNT) - Drums
Michael LePond (SYMPHONY X) - Bass
Michael Pinella (SYMPHONY X) - Keyboards
Hank Shermann (MERCYFUL FATE, FORCE OF EVIL, DEMONICA) - Guest Guitar Solo

The band intends to do some live performances after the LP release.
