TAAKE To Perform At Norway's HOLE IN THE SKY Festival

Norwegian black metal band TAAKE will play an exclusive concert at the upcoming Hole in the Sky festival in Bergen this summer. The group's lineup for the show will be as follows:

Hoest - Vocals & Guitar
Ivar Bjornson (ENSLAVED) - Guitar
Lava - Bass
Mord - Drums

TAAKE are scheduled to release a split CD with with GIGANTOMACHY (TAAKE guitarist C. Corax's main band),featuring a new track as well as a cover of DESTRUCTION's "Death Trap". They will also issue a split CD with VIDSYN, featuring a new track, plus the "A Norwegian Hail to Von" gatefold 7", featuring a cover version of VON's "Lamb" as well as contributions from NORWEGIAN EVIL (Tormentor and Infernus),AMOK and URGEHAL.

TAAKE's third album, "Doedskvad", was released earlier in the year via Dark Essence Records. The band had previously released two albums on the Wounded Love label: "Nattestid..." (1999) and "Bjoergvin" (2002). "Doedskvad" is the last installment in this trilogy.
