TAD MOROSE: New Album, DVD On The Way

December 28, 2004

TAD MOROSE guitarist Christer "Krunt" Andersson has posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"So it is that time of year when everybody is trying to look back on everything that happened during past year again. For us in TAD MOROSE it has been a very nice year. We got to do alot of cool things. Of course, our trip to USA was one of our highlights during not only this year but also during our 11-year carreer. We met some really nice people and got to meet some 'childhood heroes' like the SAVATAGE guys, Ben Jackson and Midnight from CRIMSON GLORY. Man, I never thought that would happen! We toured with EDGUY and NOCTURNAL RITES and we did the 34000 Tons Of Metal Cruise. Unfortunately, there was no European tour this year either and we only did one festival here in Europe. Hopefully that will change during 2005. We got some interesting shows lining up already so keep an eye on the schedule section on this website for up-dated information. I just have to mention EDGUY again, allthough I'm not a big fan of their music, I like some of it, they are one hell of a good live band! I have come across a lot of bands throughout all the years but they are about as good as it gets. They are totally proffesional about what they are doing and I would not be suprised if they will be the next REALLY big band. They got what it takes, if you ask me. They are also one hell of a bunch of nice guys. Hey, even their crew is awesome. Thanx for taking good care of us! Hell, while I'm at it I have to mention NOCTURNAL RITES too. I knew about them for ages but never really paid any attention to them. My mistake! They shure know 'how a grinding stone should be pulled'! (Swedish saying that probably doesn't make any sense in English, ha ha ha) When I get to see bands perform live, it very often totally change my opinion about them. Well, enough of this now. I'm getting a bad taste in my mouth of all this ass-kissing. Ha ha ha.

"Everybody in the band has been occupied with personal things during the fall and winter so we had not manage to get that much done on the new album so far. After the hollidays we will shift into high gear again and start to write new stuff. You never now how long that is going to take, sometimes it is like a 'ketchup effect', nothing, nothing....nothing....blurp! Everything! I'm not Nostradamus but I guess the brand new album will be out sometime early autumn next year. We have also, as many of you already now, filmed alot of shows and other stuff (hrmm) for a future DVD release. We now think we got enough stuff and we will start to put it all togeather during the spring. This will probably be like a 'documentary' thing with footage from the entire carreer. The title for this DVD might be 'Come Smell the Band'. Ha ha ha."
