TAKEN: B-Sides Collection Due In March; Reunion Shows Planned

November 14, 2007

Melodic hardcore band TAKEN, which split up in 2004, is planning several reunion shows in March of 2008 in celebration of the release of a B-sides collection.

Due in March via Goodfellow Records, "This Is Forever: A Taken B-Sides Collection" features the band's original 1998 demo, their seven-inch and various unreleased and live material.

Commented vocalist Ray Harkins: "It is strange after a few years that while TAKEN was a very small blip on most people's musical radar's, the interest still remained for the band. The passion that people have shown me and the rest of the band is something that we could have never imagined.:

Added guitarist Chad Tafolla: "We are beyond excited to reunite for a show in Southern California and even a few in Japan. It's been quite a while since our last show and it will be good times to all get back together to play some music. Looking forward to seeing lots of old friends and familiar faces."

The band plans on playing a one-time reunion at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, California on March 8, 2008. A reunion tour of Japan with EVYLOCK will follow between March 13 and March 18.

The lineup for the reunion shows is as follows:

Troy Born - Drums
Erik Bensberg - Guitar
Chad Tafolla - Guitar
Nick Beard - Bass
Ray Harkins – Vocals
