TANKARD Completes Work On 'Thirst'

German thrashers TANKARD have completed work on their 13th studio album, "Thirst", at Stage One Studio in Bühne, Germany in August for a December 19 release via AFM Records.

Fan-filmed video footage of TANKARD' performance at this year's Metalcamp festival, which was held July 3-9, 2008 in Tolmin, Slovenia, can be viewed below (clip uploaded by YouTube user "pulpulfolker").

TANKARD in 2007 released "Best Case Scenario: 25 Years In Beers", a collection of re-recorded versions of the band's biggest "hits" — from "(Empty) Tankard" and "Chemical Invasion" to "The Morning After" and "Space Beer". A special limited first edition included the bonus CD "A Tribute to Tankard", featuring cover versions of 18 TANKARD songs performed by such artists as SACRED STEEL, MANTICORA, ABANDONED, PARADOX, COURAGEOUS and SCORNAGE.
