TARJA TURUNEN To Perform At DORO's Anniversary Concert

September 16, 2008

According to a posting on the TarjaTurunenEnkeli.net web site, former NIGHTWISH frontwoman Tarja Turunen will perform at German singer Doro Pesch's 25th anniversary concert in Düsseldorf, Germany. Also scheduled to appear is LEAVES' EYES, among other acts. According to Tarja, she will perform "a new song and an old song" at the event, which will be held on December 13 at the ISS Dome. In addition, Turunen has revealed that "there will be a co-operation between me and Doro in the future; I'll sing two duets with her, and she'll take a part in my [upcoming] album, in one track, and I'll take a part in her 25th aniversary album."

Tarja Turunen shot footage for her new video, "Enough", in Santiago, Chile during a break on her recent South American tour.

"Enough" will appear on a special-edition version of Turunen's latest solo album, "My Winter Storm", to be issued before the end of the year.

"My Winter Storm" was released in the U.S. at the end of February. The CD was made available in two exclusive U.S. versions via Fontana: the standard and deluxe editions (the latter featuring extra tracks not released elsewhere, as well visually stimulating bonus DVD content).
