Teaser For PAPA ROACH's Make-A-Wish FUSE Special

November 21, 2013

PAPA ROACH recently partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to make a fan's dream come true, according to The Pulse Of Radio. A teenage fan named Mark Guerra, who is currently battling a brain tumor, wanted his band BREAKING BOUNDARYZ to record an EP with PAPA ROACH. The PAPA ROACH guys stepped up immediately by inviting Guerra, his bandmates and his family to New York City, where they kicked things off with a dinner and VIP access to the PAPA ROACH show that night in Sayreville, New Jersey.

The following day, both acts hit the studio to record the EP, with PAPA ROACH bringing BREAKING BOUNDARYZ on the third day to the offices of their label, Eleven Seven Music, where the label announced that it would release the EP digitally and donate a percentage of the profits to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The entire three-day experience was filmed by the Fuse network, which will air it on November 26. Check out a teaser for the special below.

PAPA ROACH frontman Jacoby Shaddix told The Pulse Of Radio recently that the band's current Top 10 rock single and video, "Leader Of The Broken Hearts", is about giving back. "It's just got this spirit of like giving to others, service to others, and I believe, you know, that's something I've learned in my life, is service to others is the highest calling," he said. "To be there and to help somebody else in their time of need is important and I think that when everything great has been stripped away and you still have this feeling of like, 'I will survive, I am okay,' that's when you know that you're all right. And I think that that's the spirit of that song."

"Leader Of The Broken Hearts" is taken from PAPA ROACH's latest album, "The Connection", which debuted last year at No. 17 on the Billboard album chart.

PAPA ROACH is playing some dates in Europe this month and in early December.

Shaddix and his wife Kelly welcomed their third son, named Brixton Gabriel Shaddix, into the world on September 17.
