TED NUGENT: New Audio Interview Available

June 12, 2007

A 17-minute audio interview with Ted Nugent, conducted a couple of days ago by Doug Podell of Detroit's WRIF 101.1 FM, has been posted online at this location (Windows Media).

Ted recently spent time at Jack Blades' Cock & Bottle Studio recording his new album, tentatively titled "Love Grenade". According to MelodicRock.com, tracks for the album were initially rehearsed over a two-week period by the full band for the record, which includes bassist Barry Sparks, drummer Tommy Clufetos and, of course, Ted Nugent on guitars and vocals. Jack Blades guests on bass on three of the album's cuts.

In Jack's words, Ted is "singing and playing like a pissed of 20-year-old", set to deliver an album packed with "the greatest, slamming full-bluntal nugity tour de force...", featuring Ted "really giving his middle finger to the world. It really is Ted at his 'Cat Scratch Fever' best" says Blades, who is excited to get the record done and into the hands of fans.

A two-and-a-half-minute video interview with Ted Nugent, filmed on his ranch in Michigan, has been posted at Blender.com. Ted gives his very opinionated stances on foreign policy and other poiltical matters, his legacy and more.
