TED NUGENT, QUIET RIOT Confirmed For Minnesota's HALF-WAY JAM

April 16, 2007

According to the St. Cloud Times, TED NUGENT will headline the fourth-annual Half-Way Jam July 26-28 in Royalton, Minnesota along with a classic rock line-up featuring QUIET RIOT, STARSHIP, THE GUESS WHO and NIGHT RANGER.

Jeff Vee of Rockhouse Productions is producing the event. He said he hopes Nugent will bring the festival to the next level.

"We really want to get the festival on the map," he said.

Vee called Nugent an icon who's in a category by himself.

"You say his name and it gets some sort of response out of everybody," he said.

Half-Way Jam is a weekend-long camping and music event that will include volleyball, Texas Hold'em and "Jammin' Idol", a contest that gives singers an opportunity to sing and compete for free tickets, prizes and a chance to perform on the main stage.

Three-day concert passes are $95-$295, $125-$325 after June 26. Single-day passes are $25 for July 26, $30 after June 26, and $45 for July 27-28, $55 after June 26. Tickets are on sale at all Westside Liquors locations and online at www.halfwayjam.com.

Three-day camping passes are $50 per person with one vehicle pass per site.
